The fashion scene in Rwanda is steadily growing, as the country positions itself to become the next fashion hub in Africa, which was evident at the just concluded Rwanda Fashion Week. Fashion showgoers were on Saturday, treated to an exquisite show, as both local and international fashion designers displayed their latest collections on the runway, at the University of Rwanda’s School of Architecture and Built Environments (SABE).

South African designer Laduma Ngoxokolo to headline the second annual Collective RW fashion week

South African designer Laduma Ngoxokolo of the Maxhosa Collections, a knitwear brand, is set to grace the second annual Collective RW fashion show. Collective RW also introduced new designers, Amizero, Moshions, and Uzi Collections to the organisation. They will showcase at the finale alongside founding members Haute Baso, House of Tayo, Inzuki Designs, and Sonia Mugabo.
